Terms & Conditions

By completing a booking with Memory Travel, you (“the Guest”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. A booking is considered confirmed only when Memory Travel has received the required deposit or full payment AND has issued a formal booking confirmation email to the Guest.

Memory Travelで予約を完了することで、お客様（以下「ゲスト」）は本利用規約に拘束されることに同意します。予約は、Memory Travelが必要な内金または全額を受領し、かつゲストに正式な予約確認メールを発行した時点でのみ確定とみなされます。

These Terms apply to all tours, packages, and customizable services offered by Memory Travel, whether booked directly through our website, by email, or by phone.

本規約は、ウェブサイト、メール、または電話で予約されたすべてのツアー、パッケージ、カスタマイズサービスに適用されます。

Currency / 通貨

All prices are quoted in Japanese Yen (¥/JPY). Where a currency conversion tool is available on our website, converted amounts are for reference only. The final charge will be processed in JPY.

すべての価格は日本円（¥/JPY）で表示されます。通貨換算ツールが利用可能な場合、換算金額は参考表示のみです。最終請求はJPYで処理されます。

Tax / 税金

All displayed prices are inclusive of Japanese Consumption Tax (currently 10%) and applicable service charges. No additional tax will be added at checkout.

表示価格はすべて日本の消費税（現行10%）および適用サービス料を含んでいます。チェックアウト時に追加税は発生しません。

Payment Timing / お支払い時期

Full payment is required at least 30 days before the tour start date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is due immediately at the time of booking.

全額は出発日の少なくとも30日前までにお支払いください。出発30日以内のご予約は、予約時に全額即時支払いが必要です。

Accepted Payment Methods / お支払い方法

• Credit / Debit Card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB (via Stripe)
• Bank Transfer (for bookings over ¥50,000 — contact us for details)

• クレジット・デビットカード：Visa、Mastercard、American Express、JCB（Stripe経由）
• 銀行振込（¥50,000以上のご予約 — 詳細はお問い合わせください）

This exemption applies because travel and tour services are booked for a specific date or period of performance. Your cancellation rights are governed by our Cancellation Policy in Section 4.

この適用除外は、旅行・ツアーサービスが特定の日時または期間に対して予約されるために適用されます。キャンセルの権利は、本規約第4条のキャンセルポリシーに準拠します。

As a boutique agency, Memory Travel pre-arranges exclusive accommodations, private guides, and transport on your behalf. The following cancellation fees apply from the date written notice of cancellation is received by Memory Travel:

Memory Travelはブティック代理店として、専用宿泊施設、プライベートガイド、交通機関を事前手配します。以下のキャンセル料は、Memory Travelがキャンセルの書面による通知を受領した日から適用されます。

Additional Notes / 補足事項

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to ask@memory-travel.com
• Refunds are processed within 14 business days of the cancellation confirmation
• Some luxury accommodations and private venues may apply stricter cancellation terms — these will be clearly stated in your booking confirmation
• Cancellation fees may be waived at Memory Travel’s discretion in cases of serious illness with valid medical documentation

• 返金はキャンセル確認後14営業日以内に処理されます
• 一部の高級宿泊施設・プライベート会場では、より厳格なキャンセル条件が適用される場合があります
• 有効な医療書類を伴う重篤な疾病の場合、Memory Travelの裁量によりキャンセル料が免除される場合があります

Memory Travel reserves the right to modify tour itineraries in exceptional circumstances including but not limited to: severe weather (typhoons, heavy snow, flooding), sudden closure of temples or private venues, government-issued travel restrictions, or force majeure events (see Section 10).

Memory Travelは、悪天候（台風・大雪・洪水）、寺社仏閣・プライベート会場の突然の閉鎖、政府発令の渡航制限、不可抗力事象（第10条参照）を含む例外的な状況において、ツアー旅程を変更する権利を留保します。

In all cases of itinerary modification, Memory Travel will provide an alternative experience of equal or greater value at no additional cost. If no suitable alternative can be arranged, a pro-rata refund will be offered for the affected portion.

旅程変更のすべての場合において、Memory Travelは追加費用なしに同等以上の代替体験を提供します。適切な代替手段が手配できない場合、影響を受けた部分について按分返金が提供されます。

Memory Travel is not responsible for any medical costs, evacuation expenses, or costs arising from trip cancellation that would be covered by adequate travel insurance.

Memory Travelは、適切な旅行保険でカバーされるべき医療費、緊急搬送費用、または旅行キャンセルから生じる費用について責任を負いません。

Physical & Dietary Requirements / 身体・食事上の要件

Guests must notify Memory Travel of any mobility limitations, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions (including allergies to seafood, shellfish, gluten, nuts, or wasabi) at the time of booking.

ゲストは予約時に、移動上の制限、医療上の状態、または食事制限（魚介類、貝類、グルテン、ナッツ、わさびアレルギーを含む）をMemory Travelに通知する必要があります。

Memory Travel promotes respectful and responsible travel. All Guests are expected to follow local customs at sacred sites, respect local residents, follow guide instructions, and comply with all applicable Japanese laws.

Memory Travelは、敬意ある責任ある旅を推進しています。すべてのゲストは、神聖な場所での地域の慣習に従い、地域住民を尊重し、ガイドの指示に従い、日本の法律を遵守することが求められます。

Memory Travel reserves the right to terminate a tour without refund if a Guest’s behavior is deemed illegal, dangerous, or severely disruptive. Any additional costs incurred (accommodation, transport home) will be the sole responsibility of that Guest.

ゲストの行動が違法、危険、または著しく迷惑と判断される場合、Memory Travelは返金なしにツアーを終了する権利を留保します。発生した追加費用はゲストの単独責任となります。

Memory Travel acts as an organizer and agent in arranging services provided by independent third-party suppliers (hotels, transport providers, guides, venues).

Memory Travelは、独立した第三者サプライヤー（ホテル、交通事業者、ガイド、会場）が提供するサービスの手配において主催者・代理人として行動します。

• Memory Travel is not liable for injury, loss, or damage caused by third-party suppliers
• Memory Travel is not liable for events outside its reasonable control (see Section 10)
• Memory Travel’s total liability shall not exceed the total price paid for the affected tour
• Nothing in these Terms limits Memory Travel’s liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence

• Memory Travelは、第三者サプライヤーによる怪我、紛失、損害について責任を負いません
• Memory Travelは、合理的な管理外の事象について責任を負いません（第10条参照）
• Memory Travelの総責任は、影響を受けたツアーについて支払われた総額を超えません
• 本規約は、当社自身の過失による死亡または人身傷害に対する責任を制限するものではありません

By participating in a Memory Travel tour, Guests consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional materials should notify their guide at the start of the tour.

Memory Travelのツアーに参加することで、ゲストはプロモーション目的での撮影・録画に同意します。プロモーション素材への掲載を希望しないゲストは、ツアー開始時にガイドに通知してください。

All website content including text, images, and tour descriptions is the property of Memory Travel and may not be reproduced without written permission.

テキスト、画像、ツアー説明を含むウェブサイトのすべてのコンテンツはMemory Travelの財産であり、書面による許可なく複製することはできません。

Memory Travel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Memory Travelは、以下を含む合理的な管理外の状況から生じる義務の履行失敗または遅延について責任を負いません：

• Natural disasters: earthquakes, typhoons, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, flooding
• Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies declared by Japanese or international authorities
• Government-imposed travel restrictions, border closures, or lockdowns
• Acts of terrorism, war, or civil unrest
• Nationwide or regional strikes affecting transport or essential services

• 自然災害：地震、台風、津波、火山噴火、洪水
• 日本または国際当局が宣言したパンデミック、感染症、公衆衛生上の緊急事態
• 政府による渡航制限、国境閉鎖、またはロックダウン
• テロ行為、戦争、または市民不安
• 交通または必須サービスに影響する全国または地域のストライキ

In the event of a force majeure cancellation, Memory Travel will offer either: (a) a full credit note valid for 24 months, or (b) a refund of the tour price minus any unrecoverable third-party costs already incurred.

不可抗力によるキャンセルの場合、Memory Travelは次のいずれかを提供します：(a) 24ヶ月有効なクレジット、または(b) 既に発生した回収不能な第三者費用を差し引いたツアー代金の返金。

Memory Travel collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking a tour, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in that policy.

Memory Travelは、プライバシーポリシーに従って個人データを収集・処理します。ツアーを予約することで、そのポリシーに記載されている個人データの収集・使用に同意するものとします。

Memory Travel is a registered travel agency under Chiba Prefecture Governor Registration No. 2-737 and a full member of the All Japan Association of Travel Agents (ANTA).

Memory Travelは千葉県知事登録第2-737号の登録旅行代理店であり、全国旅行業協会（ANTA）の正会員です。

In the event of any dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation through the Japan Tourism Agency’s dispute resolution body or ANTA’s consumer consultation service.

紛争が発生した場合、当事者はまず誠実な交渉により解決を試みます。30日以内に解決できない場合、観光庁の紛争解決機関またはANTAの消費者相談サービスを通じて調停に付することができます。

If mediation fails, any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Chiba District Court, Japan, as the court of first instance.

調停が不成立の場合、紛争は第一審の裁判所として日本の千葉地方裁判所の専属管轄に服するものとします。

Memory Travel reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Bookings confirmed before the effective date of any changes will be governed by the Terms in place at the time of confirmation.

Memory Travelはいつでも本規約を更新する権利を留保します。変更は更新された施行日とともにウェブサイトに掲載されます。変更の施行日前に確認された予約は、確認時点の規約に準拠します。
